Abuzz with chatter
the holly tree vibrates with
a host of sparrows
This morning as I walked into school, a nearby holly tree hummed with conversation. A haiku (three lines of 5-7-5) is perfect to capture this moment in nature.

Fabulous imagery! I love your inclusion of “vibrations” to describe the constant hum from the birds. As early as our day begins, it is nice to enjoy these peaceful moments in nature 🙂

Did you take that photo? It’s stunning. Your haiku is perfect. We are just beginning to hear and see a few colorful birds but have no green on trees, so I’m taking every little look of leaves I can get.

I did not take the picture, but I just got a camera with a long lens so I can start taking bird photos! I hope you get some green leaves soon.
