I see bullet journals as meccas for the artistic among us. Friends who are innately artistic love this form.
I’m not a fan of digital calendars (hubby is), but I use paper planner as well.

Your last stanza is my favorite, “how could a digital journal ever compete?” I use a planner, but list my to-do’s bullet style, only to draw arrows pointing to the next day’s column more often than not. I do write in dot grid journals for my morning pages and you just don’t get the same effect tapping away on keys. You do have a beautiful journal.

“How could a digital diary or calendar ever compete?” How indeed? I would be lost without my notebook.
